Yuta Harada PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Senior Staff Physical Therapist
As a former national athlete for swimming in the Philippines, Dr. Yuta has always been fascinated by the human body and its incredible potential. His experience with high-level sports training ignited a deep curiosity about how the body works and recovers, which initially led him to pursue physical therapy as a pre-med course with plans to enter General Medicine.

However, after a year of internships in diverse physical therapy settings—geriatrics, pediatrics, acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient, home care, and sports rehab—he realized his true passion was in direct patient care. The relationships he built and the meaningful impact he could make in people’s lives led him to shift gears and pursue a Doctorate in Physical Therapy instead.

What excites Dr. Yuta most about being a physical therapist is the opportunity to forge real, lasting relationships with his patients. He thrives on creating a safe and welcoming environment where patients feel empowered to heal, recover, and return to the activities they love. The reward of helping someone regain their strength and confidence is unmatched.

Outside of work, he stays active with a variety of water sports including water polo, wakeboarding, and surfing. He also takes pride in his personal fitness, having achieved a 1RM Barbell Back Squat at 1.875x body weight and a 1RM Deadlift at 2.5x body weight. For Dr. Yuta, fitness is not just a passion—it's a way of life.
